JEREMY RUSSELL
FAQ
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely. While I am based in Asheville, and deeply connected to these mountains I’ve called home for over 15 years, I frequently travel. From nearby Highlands, Charlotte, Richmond, and Greenville, SC, to the Florida sand and the cityscapes of Chicago and D.C., I welcome the adventure. I often do my best work in new environments where I can create with a fresh perspective. I am experienced with the logistics of travel and bring my creative professionalism wherever your story takes us.
Do you shoot film or digital?
In short, both. However, I always prioritize the image over the medium. My roots are in the darkroom and I have a deep respect for the texture of analog film. I also rely on modern digital cameras for consistency and low-light performance. I edit with nostalgic intent, focusing on natural skin tones, organic grain, and softness blending the tangible feeling of film with digital capabilities.
What do your Collections include?
My Collections are designed to document the full narrative arc of your day. This frequently includes two photographers and photography coverage is always tailored to your specific timeline. Engagement sessions, home video style videography, and additional film photography options are available.
When and how do we receive our images?
I know the anticipation is high, so I share a selection of highlights within the first week following the wedding. Your full collection is delivered via a private, high-resolution online gallery within 4-5 weeks. You can easily download your files for sharing or for your personal archives, order prints, and share the link with family and friends.
Do you offer albums?
I believe your photos deserve to live in the real world, not just on a screen. I offer custom designed, archival quality albums that are created to last generations.
Are you insured?
I carry professional liability insurance and can provide a certificate (COI) to your venue upon request.
Do you photograph elopements or "micro" weddings?
Intimate celebrations are some of my favorite events to photograph. I offer specific coverage options tailored to these smaller gatherings.
This isn’t even a question. Love is love.
I am honored to document connections of every kind and have been proudly photographing LGBTQ+ celebrations for over a decade.
What is a question we should be asking?
"How do you keep our photos safe?" I spent years managing the digital archives for a celebrity portrait agency in Los Angeles and I believe your personal history is even more valuable. My workflow is redundant by design, ensuring the absolute safety of your most important moments.
